MOOC
Department of Biotechnology, Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences provides the opportunity to the students to study the advanced courses as well as Interdisciplinary subjects via various MOOC platforms like NPTEL, Coursera, EDX, MIT OpenCourseWare etc. Students were allowed to register a maximum of 2 Online Courses per semester except the final semester and can earn a maximum of 20 credits via MOOC platforms where 1 credit for every 4 weeks. In the academic year 2020-2021, the number of students who completed various MOOC was 187 when compare to academic year 2019-2020, the number of students were 77.
