Curriculum Development
A systematic process is followed in the design and development of the curriculum which involves an interactive participation, discussion and critical inquiry with the stakeholders for updating and revising the syllabus as per the industry requirements. The institution adopts the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) for academic flexibility and progression. The Curriculum Development Cell (CDC) is constituted with representatives of Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors of the department, to review the existing syllabi, introduce industry relevant new Courses, revise the content to suit the market demand and incorporate the feedback of the stakeholders. The composition of the curriculum is well balanced with Program Core, domain specific and generic electives, Internships and Projects. The department has its own Board of Studies (BoS) constituted with external members representing Industry, Institutions of National importance and distinguished alumni along with the Dean/HOD and members of the faculty.
