Our Faculty Members
Dr. D. Tensing, M.E., Ph.D.
Dr. D. Tensing is a Professor with expertise in Structural Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. and M.E. in Structural Engineering and a B.Tech. in Civil Engineering. His research interests include steel structures, composite structures, and fibre reinforced structures, with teaching expertise in structural design, analysis, and concrete technology.
Dr. K.R.S. Krishnan is a faculty member in the Division of Civil Engineering at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, an M.E. in Structural Engineering, and a B.E. in Civil Engineering. His research interests include fire resistance of concrete, steel and composite structures, structural health monitoring, sustainable concrete, and non-destructive testing and evaluation.
Dr. Sneha Gautam is a Professor (Research) in the Division of Civil Engineering. She holds a Ph.D. in Air Pollution Measurement and Modelling from IIT Kharagpur and a PDF in Air Pollution Research from NCTU, Taiwan. Her research focuses on air pollution measurement and modelling, personal exposure assessment, bioaerosols, aerosol science, and urban and rural air quality. She has 66 journal publications, 929 Scopus citations, 1332 Google Scholar citations, and an h-index of 22.
Dr. N. Anand is an Associate Professor in the Division of Civil Engineering at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, an M.E. in Structural Engineering, and a B.E. in Civil Engineering. His research interests include fire resistance of concrete, steel and composite structures, structural health monitoring, sustainable concrete, and non-destructive testing and evaluation.
Dr. S. Vincent Sam Jebadurai is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Civil Engineering at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. and M.Tech. from Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences and a B.E. in Civil Engineering. His research interests include 3D printing and mixed reality in construction, with research contributions in structural analysis, infill masonry, cement mortar, and structural performance.
Dr. E. ArunRaj is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Civil Engineering at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering and an M.Tech. in Structural Engineering from Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences. His research interests include seismic response reduction, structural vulnerability studies, retrofit of concrete beam-column joints, low-cost cooling roof tiles, and phase-changing materials.
Dr. Cyril Samuel J S is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Civil Engineering at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences.
