Events

The department initiates Curricular and co-curricular activities periodically to tap out the latent potentials of the students. Such events enable the students to develop communicative competence enhancing their confidence, to obtain professional excellence, their creative skills, event management skills and team management skills. Various academic workshops and conferences are conducted periodically to equip them and train them to have ingenuity and achieve excellence in academics and inspire them towards research. All new faculty attended orientation programs. Faculty members attended training programs organized by KITS.

Highlight of the participation of students and faculty in extension activities.  All the staff members are either programme coordinators or programme officers of DECE clubs and the students work in any of the clubs or in extension activities. Students have to be a part of these extension activities to score non – academic activities. Clubs in KITS are Journalism Club, Karunya Arts and Literary Association (KALA), Nature Club and Advanced Leadership Club are some of the clubs in which the staff and students are involved. a)Conducted and co-ordinated an FDP for All Indian Association for Christian Higher Education b) Extension activity conducted to EMS School students- SARANG on 13-09-2013

CENTRE FOR EXCELLENCE Best Cambridge Centre of the year award for academic support for 2014 and 2015  Students were trained for Cambridge English BEC (VANTAGE) exam and 370 students were qualified in 2014. This certificate helps students to be placed.
