NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON INSTRUMENTATION, CONTROL AND BIOMEDICAL SYSTEMS

The Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering of Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, Coimbatore, INDIA, is organizing an “national Conference on Instrumentation, Control and - NCICBS'18” during 13th April, 2018 at Karunya Premises, Coimbatore, TamilNadu, India .The main objective of the national Conference is to draw together scientist, researchers and academicians from all over the country to present their research works and developmental project activities in the broad field of Industrial Instrumentation and Signal Processing for solving the problems of humanity.
The Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (EIE), started in June 1995 offering BE-EIE Program under the affiliation of Bharathiyar University and later affiliated to Anna University. With excellent laboratory and research facility the department gradually expanded by introducing following Post Graduate programs, M.Tech Control & Instrumentation Engineering in the year 2003, M.Tech Embedded Systems in the year 2008 and M.Tech Biomedical Instrumentation in the year 2009. Owing to the vast application of instrumentation in Biomedical and healthcare the department introduced B.Tech Biomedical Engineering program in 2014. The deparment has also lauched a new program on Robotics & Automation. Within a short span of time the department has acquired facility and resources for conducting advanced researches in Control and Instrumentation and Bio-Medical Engineering and thus offering Part/Full time research programs leading to Ph.D. The department has a team of qualified, dedicated and committed faculty members who groom the students as technocrats, entrepreneurs, successful and value added leaders. The department houses, state of the art laboratories catering to the needs of the cutting edge technologies of the technical era. In order to make the students technically competent add on courses like PLC, LabVIEW, SCADA, Embedded System and real time signal acquisition with hands on training are being conducted. To cater to the needs of the new generation, smart class room with smart learning methodology including video lectures, mini projects and case studies have been introduced. This enthralls the students with enthusiasm and prepares them with confident to face the challenges of the technical era.
