Dr. J. Jerlin Rajan

Dr. J. Jerlin Rajan is an Assistant Professor in the School of Management with a Ph.D. from Madurai Kamaraj University, awarded in 2021. He holds an M.Phil. from Vinayaka Missions University (2009), an M.B.A. from Anna University (2008), an M.A. from Periyar University (2011), a B.G.L. from Madurai Kamaraj University (2010), and a B.A. from Madurai Kamaraj University (2006). His areas of specialization include Marketing Management and Human Resource Management.

His teaching areas include Economic Analysis for Business, Organizational Behaviour, Human Resource Management, Services Marketing, Strategic Management, Principles of Management, Professional Ethics and Human Values, Engineering Economics, and Entrepreneurship Development. His research interests include Services Marketing, Employee Engagement in Human Resource Management, Work-Life Balance, and Social Entrepreneurial Awareness.

Dr. J. Jerlin Rajan is a member of the All India Management Association (AIMA) and IEEE. He has completed online courses in Accreditation and Outcome-Based Learning offered by the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, Foundations of Everyday Leadership offered by the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign through Coursera, and Essentials of Entrepreneurship: Thinking & Action offered by the University of California, Irvine, through Coursera.

His research publications address areas including consumer behaviour and product and market factors, the evolution of the retail industry, social entrepreneurial awareness and intention among youngsters, and service quality in higher educational institutions from students’ perspectives. His publications have appeared in journals including the International Journal of Emerging Technologies and Innovative Research, International Journal of Multidisciplinary Research, International Journal of Research and Analytical Reviews, and International Journal of Multidisciplinary Educational Research.
