PPG Alumni Hockey Trophy 2020 - Winner

In the district level Hockey match organized by the former students of PPG Institute of Technology, Coimbatore which was held on 28 and 29 of February consisted of 7 players, 16 Colleges had participated. In this Hockey match Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences students played very well and they were the winners. This game was held on knockout basis.

The semi finals were held between Karunya Institute of Technology & Sciences and Sri Sakthi Engineering College. Which Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences won with the score of (2-0). In the finals Govt. Engineering College, Coimbatore and Karunya Institute of Technology & Sciences competed. In this match the players from Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences played furiously and won the match with the score of (4-0).

The winner team was awarded with a cash prize of Rs.5000/-,Trophy and Certificates for each player.

The Hockey team was appreciated by our Honourable Chancellor Dr. Paul Dhinakaran, Vice Chancellor Dr.P.Mannar Jawahar, Registrar Dr. R. Ellijah Blessing, Students Affair Director Dr. S. Albones Raj and Physical Education Director Dr. A. Kaleb Rajan.
