Dr. Anitha Angeline A serves as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Robotics Engineering at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, having joined the institution on 11 July 2022. She holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, along with an M.E. in Power Electronics and Drives and a B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, both secured with First Class with Distinction. Her area of specialization is Power Electronics and Drives, and her research interests include thermoelectric power generation, power generation enhancement techniques, renewable energy technologies, battery thermal management, and automation of electrical machines and drives. She teaches courses in Electrical Machines and Drives, Programming for Problem Solving, and Material Science, in addition to previously handling subjects related to power electronics and electrical power systems.
Dr. Anitha Angeline A has a combined professional experience spanning teaching, industry, and research, including two years of teaching, one year of industrial experience as a Software Engineer at Infosys Technologies Limited, and six years as a full-time research scholar at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences. Prior to joining Karunya as a faculty member, she served as a Senior Lecturer at ARM College of Engineering and Technology. Her academic background and professional experience have strengthened her expertise in power electronics, renewable energy systems, and electrical machine automation.
She has published five international research papers and presented two papers at international conferences. Her research publications focus on thermoelectric power generation, hybrid thermoelectric generators, renewable energy systems, artificial neural network-based performance prediction, and power generation enhancement techniques. She has also participated in national workshops, contributing to her continued academic and research development.
Dr. Anitha Angeline A's research is centered on developing efficient and sustainable energy solutions through thermoelectric power generation and renewable energy technologies. Her work integrates advanced modelling, artificial intelligence techniques, and energy optimization methods to improve power generation systems and electrical drive applications. Through her teaching and research activities, she contributes to the advancement of power electronics, energy engineering, and robotics-related technologies.
