Dr. P. Anantha Christu Raj

Dr. P. Anantha Christu Raj is an Assistant Professor (Selection Grade) in the Division of Robotics Engineering, School of Engineering and Technology, at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences. He joined the institution in May 2008 and has over 15 years and 6 months of teaching experience. He holds a B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, an M.Tech. in Engineering Design, and a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. His areas of specialization include Advanced Robotic Process Automation, Industrial Robotics, and Sensor Technology, while his research interests focus on Robotic Systems, System Modelling and Control, and Energy Saving.

Dr. Anantha Christu Raj has made significant contributions to teaching, research, and academic mentoring. He has published 20 international and 8 national journal papers and presented 2 international and 12 national conference papers. He has actively participated in seminars, workshops, and faculty development programmes and has successfully guided 7 Ph.D. scholars and 10 master's projects. He is a member of The Robotic Society and has contributed extensively to research and postgraduate education in the areas of robotics, automation, and intelligent systems.

His academic and research activities span advanced robotics, industrial automation, artificial intelligence, sensor technology, embedded systems, electric vehicles, biomedical devices, and energy-efficient systems. He has consistently contributed to the development of innovative solutions in robotic process automation, smart manufacturing, IoT-based systems, and intelligent control applications through his research and scholarly work.

His research primarily focuses on robotic systems, industrial robotics, artificial intelligence, system modelling and control, sensor technology, IoT, electric vehicles, biomedical instrumentation, and energy optimization. In addition to his journal and conference publications, his research contributions extend to applications in digital manufacturing, smart healthcare, green transportation, machine learning, and intelligent automation, demonstrating his sustained commitment to advancing Robotics Engineering through research and innovation.
