Dr. Tony Jose

Dr. Tony Jose is an Assistant Professor in Electronics and Communication Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Fiber Optic Communication Systems, an M.Tech. in Microwave and Television Engineering, and a B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering. His academic and research work focuses on optical communication and photonic technologies.

His research interests include optical communication, Radio-over-Fiber, free-space optical communication, doped fibre amplifiers, optical sensors, nonlinear optics, photonic crystal fibre, and supercontinuum technologies. His work addresses advanced optical and photonic systems for communication and sensing applications.

Dr. Tony Jose has contributed nine international journal publications and 11 international conference publications. He has also contributed to a patent on an automated selective circuit-breaking system, with Indian Patent Application No. 202341083776 A, published on 05 January 2024. He has also been involved in Ph.D. thesis guidance.
