Dr. G. Shine Let

Dr.Shine Let G, Associate Professor, is a faculty member in the Division of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences. She holds a Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, completed in April 2021. She also holds an M.E. in Communication Systems with Distinction from Anna University and a B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering with Distinction from Anna University.

Her teaching and research interests include reconfigurable antennas, antenna design for mobile applications, electron devices, electronic circuits, computer communication, antenna theory, wireless networks, cellular mobile communication, high-speed networks, software-defined radio, and ad hoc networks. She has been associated with Karunya since 2007 and has served as Associate Professor in the Division of Electronics and Communication Engineering since June 2026, following her tenure as Assistant Professor from January 2010 to June 2026 and Lecturer from July 2007 to December 2010.

Shine Let G has contributed 31 international journal publications, 35 international conference publications, and 7 national conference publications during 2014–2026. She is a co-author of the book Cooperative Communication in 5G Cognitive Radio Systems, published by Lambert Academic Publishing in 2018. She has also contributed to a patent application titled “A Graphical User Interface Based Book Misplacement Avoidance System for Libraries,” published in 2024.

She has guided 1 Ph.D. scholar to completion and 5 Ph.D. scholars are currently ongoing, along with 16 completed M.E. projects. Her professional recognition includes 8th rank in M.E. Communication Systems from Anna University, the SALIS – Library Ambassador Award in 2024, and NPTEL recognitions as Discipline Star and Motivated Learner during July–December 2025. She is a member of the International Association of Engineers (IAENG).
