Dr. D. Jude Hemanth

Dr . D. Jude Hemanth received his B.E degree in ECE from Bharathiar University in 2002, M.E degree in communication systems from Anna University in 2006 and Ph.D. from Karunya University in 2013. His research areas include Computational Intelligence and Image processing. He has authored more than 320 research papers in reputed SCIE indexed International Journals and Scopus indexed International Conferences. His Cumulative Impact Factor is more than 520. He has published 62 edited books with reputed publishers such as Elsevier, Springer and IET.

He has been serving as Associate Editor of SCIE Indexed International Journals such as IEEE Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics (IEEE-JBHI), IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, Earth Science Informatics (Springer), IET Image Processing (Wiley), Measurement and Control (Sage), PLOS One and Dyna (Spain), etc. He has been serving as the series editor of “Biomedical Engineering series” (Elsevier), Editorial board member of ASTI series (Springer) and “Robotics and Healthcare series” (CRC Press).

He has been recognized as the TOP 2% scientist by Stanford University, USA for the years 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 in the area of AI and Image Processing. He has been appointed as “IEEE EMBS DISTINGUISHED LECTURER” by IEEE, USA for the period 202-2027.

He has received funded projects from DST, CSIR and DRDO to the tune of 50+ Lakhs and from Government of UK to the tune of 35000 UK Pounds. He is the member of International Accreditation Committee for Higher Education Institutions in Romania, Slovenia and Montenegro of the European Union. He has evaluated more than 5 in Europe in the past 3 years. He has delivered 250+ Keynote Talks/Invited Talks in Luxembourg, Poland, Turkey, Malaysia, Romania, Russia, etc

He serves as the Visiting Professor in Faculty of informatics at University of Oradea, Romania. He also serves as the Visiting Professor in Department of Engineering at University of Luxembourg, Luxembourg. He is also the Visiting Professor of Samara State Medical university, Russia. Currently, he is working as Full Professor in Department of ECE, Karunya University, Coimbatore, India.
