Dr. J. John Paul is an Assistant Professor in Electronics and Communication Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering, an M.E. in Power Electronics, and a B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering. His academic and research work focuses on IoT, energy harvesting, antennas, embedded systems, and intelligent technologies.
His research interests include IoT-based remote monitoring and control, energy harvesting, metamaterial absorbers, flexible antennas for medical applications, microprocessors and microcontrollers, embedded systems, artificial intelligence, and Wireless Sensor Networks. His work integrates communication, embedded, energy, and intelligent technologies.
Dr. John Paul has contributed 15 journal publications, 30 international conference publications, and two national publications. His patents include a battery charging method and system, a hand-gesture-operated trash can, a self-guided robot, and an IoT-based parapet safety system. He has also been associated with a Ministry of Education project under UBA-IIT Delhi.
He has two ongoing Ph.D. scholars and has guided two completed M.E. projects. He received the Achiever Award 2025. His professional profile reflects interdisciplinary research in IoT, embedded systems, energy harvesting, intelligent devices, wireless sensing, and application-oriented electronic systems.
