Dr. I. Thusnavis Bella Mary

Dr. I. Thusnavis Bella Mary is an Assistant Professor in Electronics and Communication Engineering. She holds a Ph.D. in Information and Communication Engineering, an M.E. in Applied Electronics, and a B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering, with distinction in both postgraduate and undergraduate qualifications. Her academic work focuses on image processing, communication, and embedded technologies.

Her research interests include medical image retrieval, statistical feature extraction, optimisation, microprocessors and microcontrollers, cloud computing, IoT, and ARM technologies. Her work combines intelligent image-processing techniques with embedded and connected systems for advanced engineering applications.

Dr. Bella Mary has contributed 17 journal publications, 24 international conference publications, two national publications, and five edited books or book chapters. Her research projects include Intelligent Traffic Control using Image Processing and a MeitY C2S project on a configurable and scalable IoT SoC for automobile applications, with a sanctioned amount of ₹84.61 lakh.

She has also contributed to a patent on IoT-based remote monitoring and alerting for human-animal conflict mitigation. Her academic recognition includes the Best Paper Presenter Award at ICEECCOT 2017.
