The Division of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences is committed to shaping engineers who can design, analyse, and innovate across the electronics and communication spectrum. Dr. Xavier N. Fernando is a Professor with 30 years of international academic experience in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering, a Master's in Telecommunications, and a B.Sc. (First Class Honors) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. His research interests include wireless and optical communications, IoT, smart grids, machine learning, AI, and connected vehicles.
