Dr. Ben M. Jebin is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Digital Sciences at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, with over 21 years of experience in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. He holds a Ph.D. from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli, an M.Tech. in Computer and Information Technology, an M.Phil. in Computer Science, an M.C.A. in Computer Applications, and a B.Sc. in Computer Science.
His areas of research include Image Processing, Neural Networks, Deep Learning, and Network Security. He is also proficient in programming languages and tools including Python, Java, JSP, Servlet, .NET, Eclipse, and NetBeans, as well as image processing tools such as Scilab and MATLAB. His database expertise includes MySQL, SQL Server, and Access.
Dr. Ben M. Jebin has published 10 papers in refereed journals and presented 6 papers at conferences. He has also delivered 15 invited talks as a resource person and has been involved in 25 career development programmes for school and college students. His academic interests include Object-Oriented Programming and Image Processing Tools, along with conducting seminars and symposiums.
Prior to joining Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, he served in academic positions at Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education, Malankara Catholic College, C.S.I. Institute of Technology, Noorul Islam College of Engineering, and MET’s School of Engineering. His professional experience covers teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and research in the areas of Image Processing, Neural Networks, Deep Learning, and Network Security.
