Ms. Shivanthana S

Ms. Shivanthana S is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Data Science and Cyber Security at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology and a Master's degree in Cyber Security from Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences. She joined Karunya as an Assistant Professor in May 2025.

Her teaching interests include Cryptography and Network Security, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Forensics, Deep and Machine Learning, and Blockchain. Her research focuses on Cyber Security, Network Security, Cryptography, Generative AI, Digital Forensics, and Deep and Machine Learning, with an emphasis on developing intelligent and secure computing solutions.

Ms. Shivanthana S has published research in international conferences and peer-reviewed journals. Her work focuses on AI-driven intrusion detection, data imbalance handling using Generative AI, feature extraction techniques, and advanced machine learning methods to enhance cybersecurity and network protection.

Ms. Shivanthana S is actively engaged in teaching and research in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. Her expertise in cryptography, digital forensics, blockchain, and intelligent intrusion detection contributes to the advancement of secure computing technologies and prepares students to address emerging cybersecurity challenges.
