Dr. K. Rebecca Jebaseeli Edna

Dr. K. Rebecca Jebaseeli Edna is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences. Her research focuses on Applied Probability and Statistics, Fuzzy Acceptance Sampling Plans, and Neutrosophic Acceptance Sampling Plans. She teaches courses including Linear Algebra, Calculus, Probability and Statistics, Discrete Structures, Mathematical Transforms, Numerical Methods, and Operations Research.

She has contributed to academic research through publications in the field of acceptance sampling and has authored two books on blended chain sampling plans and variable fraction defective sampling plans, published by Lambert Academic Publishers, Germany. Her research work reflects her expertise in statistical quality control and applied mathematical modeling.

Dr. Rebecca has strengthened her academic and technical expertise by completing several professional certification courses in Six Sigma, Probability for Statistics and Data Science, Python Programming, Data Science Mathematics, Advanced Linear Models, Applied Linear Algebra in AI and Machine Learning, and AWS Machine Learning Data Analysis Fundamentals. She also maintains research profiles on Google Scholar, Scopus, and ORCID.

As an academician, she is committed to teaching, research, and continuous professional development in mathematics and statistics. Her specialization in probability, statistical methods, and acceptance sampling, combined with her teaching and publication contributions, supports both undergraduate and postgraduate education while advancing research in applied mathematics and data-driven methodologies.
