Dr. A. Jenefa

Dr. Jenefa A is an Associate Professor in the Division of Data Science and Cyber Security with a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, an M.Tech from Karunya University, and a B.E. from Anna University, where she secured University 5th Rank. She has over a decade of teaching experience and specializes in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, Data Science, and Biomedical Engineering.

Dr. Jenefa has an outstanding research record with 16 international journal publications, 46 international conference publications, and 6 book chapters since 2015. Her research spans artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, biomedical engineering, and data science. She has also guided 25 master's theses and is currently supervising four Ph.D. scholars.

She possesses expertise in multiple programming languages, web technologies, databases, and operating systems. Dr. Jenefa serves as a reviewer for Springer, IOS Press, and several SCIE and Scopus-indexed journals, while also contributing as a session chair, technical committee member, and workshop organizer in areas including machine learning, network technologies, and quantum computing. She is also engaged as a consultant for an industry project.

Dr. Jenefa has received recognition for her excellence in teaching, mentoring, and research, including mentoring awards in Smart India Hackathon and invitations as a keynote speaker. With an H-index of 9, over 250 citations, professional memberships, and active involvement in academic and industry collaborations, she continues to contribute significantly to research, innovation, and higher education in computer science and data science.
