Ms. K. Esther Lipni

Ms. K. Esther Lipni is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Data Science and Cyber Security at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Panimalar Institute of Technology and a Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Sree Sastha Institute of Engineering and Technology, Anna University. Prior to joining Karunya in November 2024, she served as an Assistant Professor at Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering and Technology and Prathyusha Engineering College.

Her teaching interests include Internet of Things, Data Warehousing and Data Mining, Python Programming, Web Technology, Java Programming, Machine Learning Techniques, Cryptography and Network Security, and Principles of Compiler Design. Her research focuses on Security, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Internet of Things, Computer Vision, and Cloud Computing.

Ms. K. Esther Lipni has published research in the areas of biomedical signal processing and intelligent computing. Her work includes studies on DWT-based EMG signal processing for upper limb prosthesis and other applications that integrate machine learning and advanced computing techniques to address real-world challenges.

With a strong foundation in computer science and emerging technologies, Ms. K. Esther Lipni combines teaching and research to promote innovation in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and IoT. Her academic and professional experience enables her to contribute effectively to student learning and research in modern computing domains.
