Mr. Suryaram S

Mr. Suryaram S is an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science and Engineering Division at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences. He joined the institution on 15/07/2026. He holds an M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from Karunya University (2026) and a B.E. in Mechatronics Engineering from Dr. Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology (2023). His academic background combines computer science with an interdisciplinary foundation in mechatronics engineering.

His research interests include Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Artificial Intelligence. His research projects include “Multimodal Visual Language Model for Lung Cancer Diagnosis” (2026) and “Towards Trustworthy LLMs: A Hybrid RAG-Enhanced, Attention-Driven Multi-Metric Framework for Model Evaluation and Comparison” (2025), both listed with NIL funding. His publication record includes one international journal publication and one international/national conference publication.

His teaching interests include DevOps, AI/ML, Soft Skills, Web Development, Python Programming, and C++ Programming. He completed a Web Developer internship at Amypo Technologies, Ganapathy, Coimbatore, in 2023. His academic and research interests demonstrate a focus on contemporary artificial intelligence technologies, particularly Generative AI, LLMs, machine learning, and deep learning.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Suryaram S served as a Teaching Research Assistant in the Computer Science and Engineering Division at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences from 2025 to 2026. He has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the same division since 2026. His academic preparation, research projects, publication record, and professional experience contribute to his engagement in emerging areas of artificial intelligence and related computing technologies.
