Mrs. M. Shilpa Aarthi is an Assistant Professor (Regular) with academic experience in Computer Science and Engineering. She joined Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences on 27/08/2021. She holds an M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University/Panimalar Engineering College (2017–2019) and a B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University/Panimalar Institute of Technology (2013–2017).
Her research interest is Deep Learning. Her academic profile focuses on the application and development of deep learning approaches within the broader field of computer science and engineering.
Her teaching interests include Data Structures and Algorithms, Web Technology, Software Engineering, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Fundamentals of Python, and Ethics in Information Technology. These areas cover core programming, algorithms, software development, web technologies, and professional ethics within computer science education.
Prior to joining Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, she served as an Assistant Professor (Lab-in-Charge) in the CSE area at Panimalar Engineering College, Chennai, from July 2019 to December 2019. She subsequently served as an Assistant Professor in CSE at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences from 27/08/2021 to 13/07/2026.
