Dr. A. Reyana is an Assistant Professor – Grade I (Regular) in Computer Science and Engineering at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences. She joined the institution on 08/04/2022. She holds a Ph.D. in ICE from Anna University (2023) and an M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from St. Peter’s University (2013). Her academic and professional experience spans teaching and research in computer science and engineering.
Her research interests include Wireless Sensor Networks and Automata Theory. She has contributed 24 international journal publications and 13 international/national conference publications, with 142 Scopus citations, 208 Google Scholar citations, and an h-index of 7. Her research contributions include the published patent “A Fault Tolerance Solution for Large Scale Wireless Sensor Networks in the Context of a Precision Agriculture Application,” Application No. 202141011050 A, published on 26/03/2021.
Dr. Reyana has contributed to several books and book chapters in areas related to artificial intelligence, healthcare analytics, biomedical image analysis, blockchain, IoT, and deep neural networks. Her publications include works published by IGI Global, Elsevier Publications, and CRC Press–Taylor & Francis Group. She has also guided one completed and one ongoing Master’s thesis, contributing to postgraduate academic and research development.
Her teaching interests include Compiler Design, Theory of Computation, Cyber Forensics, Artificial Intelligence, Wireless Sensor Networks, Foundations of Blockchain, Network Security, and Python Programming. She has served as an Assistant Professor at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, Hindusthan College of Engineering & Technology, Nehru Institute of Engineering and Technology, and Bridgeway International. She has also completed the “Coach – AI for Youth” programme with Dell Technologies in 2023.
