Dr. Rajkumar Yesuraj

Dr. Rajkumar Yesuraj is an Assistant Professor II (Regular) in Computer Science and Engineering at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. in Security in VANETs from VIT University, an M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from Karunya University, and a B.Tech. in Information Technology from Anna University. He joined Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences in July 2026 and has academic experience across several institutions in Computer Science and Engineering.

His research interests include Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs), Machine Learning, Security and Cryptography, and e-Vehicles. He has contributed 14 international journal publications and 10 international/national conference publications, with 169 Scopus citations, 232 Google Scholar citations, and an h-index of 6. His research contributions include four granted patents covering blockchain-based network security, AI-based multimedia interactive whiteboards, IoT-based intelligent charging stations, and intelligent gas leakage detection systems.

Dr. Rajkumar Yesuraj has authored four books and book-length publications covering Compiler Design, Image Processing using MATLAB, semi-transparent image processing using an edge-based active contour model, and dynamic hierarchy analytical routing protocols for VANETs. His professional development includes Java Certification completed in Salem in 2010.

His academic experience includes serving as Assistant Professor Senior Grade I at VIT-AP University from 2024 to 2026, and as Assistant Professor at Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, Vignan’s University, Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology, and AVS Engineering College. His academic and research profile focuses on VANETs, machine learning, security and cryptography, e-Vehicles, and related areas of computer science and engineering.
