Dr. R. Venkatesan is a Professor in Computer Science and Engineering at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, with extensive academic experience in teaching, research, and higher education. He holds a Ph.D. in Information and Communication Engineering from Anna University, an M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, and a B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University. He joined Karunya University in June 2006 and has served the institution in various academic positions, progressing from Lecturer to Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor.
His area of interest includes Task Scheduling, Internet of Things (IoT), and Machine Learning Algorithms, particularly multi-model approaches. His teaching interests encompass Python Programming, C Programming, Compiler Design, Object-Oriented Programming, Computer Architecture, Operating Systems, Programming for Problem Solving, and System Software.
