Dr. P. Santhiya

Dr. P. Santhiya is an Assistant Professor (Regular) in Computer Science and Engineering at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences. She holds an M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University and a B.Tech. in Information Technology from Anna University. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering at Karunya University. She joined Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences in August 2021 and has academic experience in Computer Science and Engineering.

Her research interests include Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning. She has contributed 2 international journal publications and 6 international/national conference publications, with an h-index of 1. Her teaching interests encompass Web Technology, Computer Networks, Computer Vision, Database Management Systems, Advanced Database Management Systems, Python Programming, C Programming, Operating Systems, Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, Software Project Management, and Distributed Computing.

Dr. Santhiya has served as an Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences since 2021. Prior to this, she served as an Assistant Professor at Holy Cross Engineering College, Tuticorin, during 2018–2021 and 2014–2017. She also worked as a Lecturer in Computer Science and Engineering at SCAD College of Engineering & Technology, Tirunelveli, during 2010–2011.
