Mrs. T. Kavitha

Mrs. T. Kavitha is an Assistant Professor (Regular) at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences. She joined the institution on 23/08/2021. She holds an M.Tech. in Network and Internet Engineering from Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences (2019) and a B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences (2017). She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in IoT at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences.

Her research interests include Internet of Things, Networking, Cyber Security, and Cognitive Computing. She has contributed to 1 international/national conference publication, with 9 Scopus citations, 4 Google Scholar citations, and an h-index of 1. Her academic interests focus on emerging areas of IoT, networking, cybersecurity, and cognitive computing.

Her teaching interests include Internet of Things, Cognitive Computing, Ethical Hacking, Computer Networks, Information Retrieval and Text Analysis, Artificial Intelligence in IoT, Concepts and Applications in Entrepreneurship, Logical and Critical Thinking, Ethics in Information Technology, and Cyber Security. These areas reflect her teaching engagement across core computing, security, networking, and emerging technology domains.

She has been associated with Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences since 2021, with experience in the Placement function within the CSE area from 2021 to 2024. Her academic profile combines teaching interests in IoT, networking, cybersecurity, and cognitive computing with ongoing doctoral research in IoT.
