Dr. K. Venkatachalam

Dr. K. Venkatachalam is a Professor (Research) with academic qualifications including a Postdoc in Software Engineering from Jeonbuk National University, a Ph.D. in Web Service Discovery from Anna University, an M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, and a B.Tech. in Information Technology from Anna University. His academic and research background encompasses Web Services, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Medical Imaging.

He has academic and research experience in India and abroad, having served as a Senior Researcher in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic, a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Software Engineering at Jeonbuk National University, South Korea, and an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Technology at Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore. His teaching interests include Web Technology, Object-Oriented Programming, Database Management Systems, Middleware Technologies, Service-Oriented Architecture, Semantic Web, Distributed Computing, and Client-Server Computing.

His research contributions include 120 international journal publications and 5 international/national conference publications. He has received 3,226 Scopus citations and 4,601 Google Scholar citations, with an h-index of 37. His research interests include Web Services, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Medical Imaging.
