Dr. Julia Punitha Malar Dhas

Dr. Julia Punitha Malar Dhas is a Professor in Computer Science and Engineering at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, with extensive academic experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Dr. M.G.R. Educational & Research Institute University, an M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, and a B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Bharathiar University. She joined Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences on 23 August 2021 and has served as Professor in Computer Science and Engineering. Prior to joining Karunya, she held several academic and administrative positions, including Deputy Director of Research and Professor & Head of Computer Science and Engineering at Noorul Islam College of Engineering, as well as Senior Lecturer and Lecturer at CSI Institute of Technology.

Her area of interest includes Wireless Networks, Network Security, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and the Internet of Things. Her teaching interests encompass Computer Networks, Computer Communication Networks, Optimization Methodologies, Distributed Computing, Data Structures and Algorithms, Microprocessors and Microcontrollers, C Programming, Operating Systems, and Database Management Systems. Her academic interests bring together networking, cybersecurity, intelligent computing, distributed systems, and emerging technology applications.
