Dr. I. Titus

Dr. I. Titus is an Assistant Professor (Regular) in Computer Science and Engineering at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering and an M.Tech. in Network and Internet Engineering from Karunya University, along with a B.E. in Information Technology from Karunya University. He joined Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences in August 2021 and has academic and research experience at the institution.

His research interests include Edge Computing, Internet of Things, Optimization Methodologies, Software Application Development, and Data Science. He has contributed 5 international journal publications and 9 international/national conference publications, with 60 Scopus citations, 76 Google Scholar citations, and an h-index of 5. His teaching interests include Web Technology, C# and .NET Programming, Software Engineering, Python Programming, Object-Oriented Programming in Java, and Soft Computing.

Dr. Titus has served as an Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences since 2021. Previously, he served as a Senior Research Fellow from 2013 to 2016 and as an Assistant Professor from 2012 to 2013 at the same institution. His academic experience reflects continued engagement in teaching and research within Computer Science and Engineering.

His professional interests span emerging areas including edge computing, IoT, data science, optimization, and software application development. His teaching expertise covers web technologies, programming, software engineering, soft computing, and object-oriented programming, supporting his academic contributions at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences.
