Dr. I. Deva Priya

Dr. Deva Priya is an Assistant Professor (Regular) in Computer Science and Engineering at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, where she has been serving since 2011. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, an M.E. in Network and Internet Engineering from Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, and a B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University.

Her research interests include Computer Networking, Software Defined Networks, Wireless Sensor Networks, Internet of Things, Machine Learning, and Data Science. Her teaching interests encompass Internet of Things, Computer Networks, Internetworking Multimedia, System Software, Advanced Computer Networks, Computer Architecture, Operating Systems, UNIX Architecture, Theory of Computation, and Computational Thinking and Problem Solving.

Dr. Deva Priya has contributed 8 international journal publications and 10 international/national conference publications, with 119 Scopus citations, 166 Google Scholar citations, and an h-index of 6. She holds a granted Indian patent titled System and Method for Automatic Model Transformation using Behavior Extraction, Indian Patent Application No. 202241022561 A, granted in 2022.

Her academic experience includes serving as an Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences from 2011 onwards and as a Lecturer in the same field at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences from 2009 to 2011. She also holds the Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) certification from Cisco, Bangalore, obtained in 2017. Her academic background and research interests reflect expertise across networking, IoT, machine learning, and data science.
