Dr. A.M. Anusha Bamini

Dr. Anusha Bamini A M is an Assistant Professor (Regular) in Computer Science and Engineering at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, where she has been serving since 2021. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education, an M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, and a B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University.

Her research interests include Machine Learning, Computer Networks, and Cloud Computing. Her teaching interests encompass Natural Language Processing, Data Science, Cloud Computing, Operating Systems, and Object-Oriented Programming. She has contributed 18 international journal publications and 21 international/national conference publications, with 46 Scopus citations, 61 Google Scholar citations, and an h-index of 4.

Dr. Anusha Bamini A M has two published Indian patent applications: Enhanced Air Quality Monitoring System Using IoT, Indian Patent Application No. 202041039370 (2022), and Development of CAD System for Heart Attack Prediction in Indians from Cloud Healthcare Data using Intelligent and Big Data Analytical Tools, Indian Patent Application No. 202041039267 (2022).

She has guided 14 completed Master of Engineering theses and is currently guiding 3 Ph.D. scholars. Her professional development includes IBM Certified Database Associate – DB2 9 Fundamentals from IBM in 2010, Cloud Infrastructure and Services from EMC2 in 2014, and Programming Essentials in C from Cisco in 2022. Her academic experience includes serving as an Assistant Professor at Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education from 2010 to 2021 and at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences from 2021 onwards.
