Dr. A. Kethsy Prabavathy

Dr. Kethsy Prabavathy is an Assistant Professor (Regular) in Computer Science and Engineering at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, where she has been serving since 2009. She holds a Ph.D. in Information and Communication Engineering from Anna University, an M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, and a B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Bharathiar University.

Her research interests include Image Processing, Video Processing, Video Segmentation, and Machine Learning. Her teaching interests encompass Digital Integrated Circuits, Microprocessor and Interfacing, Soft Computing, Software Engineering, UNIX Architecture, Image Processing, Operating Systems, Object-Oriented Software Engineering, Programming for Problem Solving, Big Data and Graph Analytics, and Database Management Systems.

Dr. Kethsy Prabavathy has contributed 8 international journal publications and 7 international/national conference publications, with 10 Scopus citations, 146 Google Scholar citations, and an h-index of 2. She is also associated with a published Indian patent titled System and Method for Automatic Model Transformation Using Behavior Extraction, Indian Patent Application No. 202241022561 A, published in 2022.

She is currently guiding 2 Ph.D. scholars and 1 Master of Engineering scholar, with 14 completed M.E. theses. Her academic experience includes serving as an Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences from 2009 onwards and as a Lecturer in the same field at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences from 2004 to 2009.
