Dr. X. Infanta

Dr. X. Infanta is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Commerce and International Trade at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, with over 8 years of teaching experience in higher education. She holds a Ph.D., M.Phil., M.Com., and PGDCA from Bharathiar University and is currently pursuing a B.Ed. from Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University. Her academic expertise spans Human Resource Management, Marketing Management, Finance, Organizational Behaviour, and Applied Psychology. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to academic excellence, curriculum development, institutional administration, and student mentoring while serving in various academic coordination roles.

Her research focuses on Human Resource Management, Marketing Management, Finance, Organizational Behaviour, Professional Stress, Cognitive Empathy, Applied Psychology, and Business Management. She has published several research papers in national and international journals, including Scopus-indexed and UGC Care journals, covering areas such as professional stress, work-life balance, entrepreneurship, business ethics, financial systems, and cognitive empathy. She has also authored a textbook on Business Organization and Office Management and has received the Best Paper Award for her research on Women Entrepreneurship, reflecting her active engagement in scholarly research and academic publishing.

Dr. X. Infanta teaches a diverse range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including Strategic Management, Cost Accounting, Accounting Standards, Marketing, Financial Accounting, Business Finance, Financial Markets and Institutions, Supply Chain Management, Business Organisation, Practical Income Tax, Software Development, Internet and Web Designing, and Agricultural Economy. She actively contributes to academic development through organizing seminars, workshops, faculty development programmes, alumni events, financial literacy initiatives, and industry-oriented programmes. She has also served as a guest speaker and regularly participates in faculty development programmes, conferences, seminars, and workshops to enhance her teaching and research capabilities.

Prior to joining Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences in 2025, Dr. X. Infanta served as an Assistant Professor at Bishop Ambrose College, Nirmala College for Women, and Sri Krishna Adithya College of Arts and Science. She has held several institutional responsibilities, including IQAC Coordinator, Project Coordinator, Association Coordinator, Placement Coordinator, NAAC Coordinator, and Student Mentor, contributing significantly to academic quality assurance and student development. Her dedication to teaching, research, academic leadership, and professional development reflects her commitment to fostering excellence in commerce education and advancing research in Human Resource Management, Marketing, and Finance.
