Dr. G. R. Ashisha, M.Tech., Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor, Division of Biomedical Engineering, at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, Coimbatore. Her research interests include Real-Time Embedded Systems, Biomedical Signal Processing and Analysis, Wearable Devices, and AI in Healthcare. Her experience includes serving as a Teaching Research Assistant from 10-09-2019 to 30-11-2019 and as an Assistant Professor from 01-09-2021 to the present.
She completed her Ph.D. in EIE from Karunya University in June 2024 through part-time mode, her M.Tech. in Embedded Systems from Karunya University in April 2018 with First Class with Distinction, and her B.E. in ECE from Anna University in April 2016 with First Class. Her teaching interests include Embedded Systems, Microprocessor and Microcontrollers, Image Processing, Electrical and Electronics, Rehabilitation Engineering, ICU and Operation Theatre Equipment, Biomedical Instrumentation, Biology for Engineers, and Cancer Biology.
