Dr. V. Jemmy Joyce

Dr. V. Jemmy Joyce is an Assistant Professor at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, with research interests in Applied Statistics and Probability Theory. She holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, completed in 2012, an M.Phil. in Mathematics from Madurai Kamaraj University, completed in 2000, an M.Sc. in Mathematics from Madurai Kamaraj University, completed in 1997, and a B.Sc. in Mathematics from Madurai Kamaraj University, completed in 1995. She has also completed an Advanced Certification in Data Science and AI from iHub, IIT Roorkee, and an Advanced Certification in Applied Data Science from IIT Palakkad. She has been associated with Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences since 2000, serving as a Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, and Assistant Professor.

Her teaching interests include Linear Algebra, Probability and Statistics, Mathematical Transforms, Vector Spaces, Discrete Structures, Numerical Methods, Random Processes, Operations Research, Calculus, and Differential Equations, reflecting an integration of mathematical and statistical methods with emerging computational areas.

Dr. V. Jemmy Joyce has published 35 international journal articles and 5 conference papers, with 35 Scopus citations, 41 Google Scholar citations, and an h-index of 3. She has authored the books Mixed Sampling Plans Based on ZTPD and Multidimensional Sampling Plans, published by LAMBERT Academic Publishing, Germany, and is associated with professional memberships in IMS and IAENG.

Dr. V. Jemmy Joyce is currently guiding 3 Ph.D. scholars and has completed certificate courses in areas including Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Probability, Python, Linear Algebra, and Machine Learning foundations, supporting her ongoing teaching and research contributions to the Division of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences.
