Mrs. R. Hemalatha

Mrs. R. Hemalatha is an Assistant Professor at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Quantum and AI in Pharmaceutical and Drug-Related Data at Pondicherry Technology University. She holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Sri Manakula Vinayagar Engineering College, completed during 2014–2016, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Surya Group of Institutions, completed during 2010–2014. Her research interests include Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare, Multilingual Natural Language Processing, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, and Cloud Computing using AWS.

Her teaching interests include Machine Learning, AI in Healthcare, Python, Programming for Problem Solving in C, Data Visualization, and Natural Language Processing. She has 2 years of teaching experience and 5 years of industry experience. Her academic interests combine artificial intelligence, machine learning, healthcare, natural language processing, data visualization, and cloud technologies.

Her research contributions include 6 international conference publications, with 2 Scopus citations, 2 Google Scholar citations, and an h-index of 1. Her research focuses on artificial intelligence, deep learning, machine learning, multilingual natural language processing, healthcare applications, and cloud technologies. Her ongoing doctoral research further focuses on quantum and artificial intelligence applications in pharmaceutical and drug-related data.
