Dr. G. Srinitya

Dr. G. Srinitya is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, which she has served since June 2024. She holds a Ph.D. in Information and Communication Engineering from Anna University, completed in 2022, a Master’s degree in Software Engineering from Anna University, completed in 2011, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Bharathiar University, completed in 2002. She previously held academic positions at Sri Eshwar College of Engineering and Bannari Amman Institute of Technology.

Her research interests include Image Processing, Deep Learning, and Big Data Analytics. Her teaching interests span Data Structures and Algorithms, Object-Oriented Programming, Big Data Analytics, Deep Learning, Insights of Artificial Intelligence, and Software Engineering.

Dr. G. Srinitya has contributed 12 international and national conference publications, with 7 Scopus citations, 40 Google Scholar citations, and an h-index of 2. She has contributed to research guidance, successfully supervising 4 Master of Engineering students and 63 Bachelor of Engineering students. Her professional experience spans teaching and academic responsibilities across multiple institutions, progressing through roles from Lecturer and Senior Lecturer to Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor.
