Dr. J. Briso Becky Bell

Dr. J. Briso Becky Bell is an Assistant Professor at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Noorul Islam, completed during 2015–2022, an M.Tech. in Information Technology from the Regional Campus of Anna University, Coimbatore, completed during 2010–2012, and a B.Tech. in Information Technology from C.S.I. Institute of Technology, Thovalai, completed during 2006–2010. His research interests include Machine Learning and Pattern Recognition.

His teaching interests include Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and Image Processing. He has served as an Assistant Professor at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences and previously at DMI Engineering College and Kings Engineering College. His academic experience focuses on computer science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, pattern recognition, and image processing.

His research contributions include 5 international journal publications and 10 international conference publications, with 1 Scopus citation, 6 Google Scholar citations, and an h-index of 1. His intellectual property contribution includes a published patent application concerning machine learning and AI-based transcription of signals in 6G networks. He has also contributed to TNSCST-supported projects involving smart card-based travel fare detection and IoT-based indoor crop plantation.

Dr. J. Briso Becky Bell has guided 1 Master of Engineering project and 50 Bachelor of Engineering projects to completion, while currently guiding 2 Ph.D. scholars and 7 undergraduate projects. His academic and research experience in machine learning, artificial intelligence, pattern recognition, image processing, and related technologies contributes to teaching, research, project activities, and student guidance in the Division of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences.
