Mrs. S. Arul Jothi

Mrs. S. Arul Jothi is an Assistant Professor at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Deep Learning at Anna University. She holds an M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, Tirunelveli, completed during 2007–2009, and a B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, completed during 2003–2007. Her research interests include Machine Learning and Deep Learning.

Her teaching interests include Theory of Computation, Database Management Systems, Machine Learning, and Data Structures and Algorithms. She has 12 years of experience as an Assistant Professor at Nadar Saraswathi College of Engineering and Technology, Theni, and 3 years of experience as an Assistant Professor at Bharath Niketan Engineering College, Aundipatti.

Her research contributions include 2 international conference publications, with 2 Scopus citations, 2 Google Scholar citations, and an h-index of 1. Her intellectual property contributions include an AI-based device for detection of cardiac diseases and a deep learning-based approach for artery deposition analysis using segmentation and CNN classification. She has guided 1 Master of Engineering project and 30 Bachelor of Engineering projects to completion, with 7 undergraduate projects currently ongoing.

Mrs. S. Arul Jothi’s ongoing doctoral research in Deep Learning, together with her academic and teaching experience in computer science, machine learning, databases, theory of computation, and algorithms, contributes to teaching, research, and student guidance at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences.
