Dr. C. Bazil Wilfred is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Aerospace Engineering at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, Coimbatore. He holds a Ph.D. in Stochastic Process from Sacred Heart College, Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore, an M.Phil. in Mathematics with specialization in Graph Theory from Loyola College, University of Madras, Chennai, and an M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Mathematics. He also holds a PGDCA from Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA), Chennai. In addition, he has completed courses in Fourier Transforms, Machine Learning and AI, and High Dimensional Data Analysis. His research focuses on Stochastic Process, Graph Theory, VANET, and Networking.
Dr. Bazil Wilfred has been associated with Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences since 2005. Prior to joining Karunya, he served as a Visiting Professor at Hindustan Institute of Technology and Sciences, Chennai, and as a Lecturer at Maruti Institute of Engineering and Technology, Kancheepuram. His research contributions include work on stochastic analysis of IEEE 802.11 and the fault diameter of star graphs. He has published 8 Scopus-indexed publications, 7 peer-reviewed publications, and 1 conference publication, and is currently guiding 2 Ph.D. scholars.
He has contributed to academic activities as a resource person, delivering a lecture on the application of mathematics, particularly in engineering, at Nirmala College, Coimbatore, and a talk during the orientation programme for freshers at TexCity College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore. He has also served as a member of the Board of Studies and was associated with the School of Humanities and Sciences Disciplinary Committee from 2007 to 2009.
Dr. Bazil Wilfred received the Director General's Baton during the Pre-Commission Training at Officers' Training Academy, Kamptee, Nagpur. His professional profile encompasses teaching, research in stochastic processes, graph theory, VANET, and networking, academic presentations, institutional responsibilities, and continuing professional development through online courses.
