Dr. K. Anton Savio Lewise

Dr. K. Anton Savio Lewise is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Aerospace Engineering at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, having joined the institution on 6 June 2022. He holds a B.E. in Aeronautical Engineering from Noorul Islam College of Engineering, an M.E. in Aeronautical Engineering from Anna University, and a Ph.D. in Aeronautical Engineering from Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education.

Dr. Anton Savio Lewise has 10 years of teaching experience and 2.5 years of research experience. His research focuses on Material Science, Composite Materials, Manufacturing Technology, and Friction Welding, with specialization in Propulsion, Aircraft Systems, Aerospace Materials, and Aircraft Manufacturing. He teaches core aerospace subjects including Aircraft Propulsion, Rocket Propulsion, Aircraft Systems and Instruments, Aero Engine Maintenance and Repair, and Advanced Propulsion Systems.

His research contributions include publications indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, and other recognized journals, along with presentations at international conferences. He has guided postgraduate and undergraduate student projects and is a professional member of The Indian Institute of Metals and the Aeronautical Society of India, contributing to academic and research activities in aerospace engineering.

Dr. Anton Savio Lewise actively supports academic quality and Divisional development through his responsibilities as Coordinator for IQAC, NAAC, NBA, and NIRF initiatives. He also serves as the In-charge of the Aircraft Systems Laboratory and the Aeromodelling Club, fostering practical learning and innovation among students.
