THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Physics is committed to show how physics provides perspectives that permit the young physicist to better appreciate and experience, to understand the nature of matter and energy to unfold the physical world around us.

The heart of a university and any department is the faculty. This should be the most important consideration for a student choosing a college. Our department is endorsed with highly qualified faculty having scientific vigor and committed to excellence.

The Department has a team of ten inclusive of five Ph.D holders and three more pursuing Ph.D with a wide range of research experience in India and abroad. Their area of specialization includes nanoscience and technology, crystal growth, thin films for semiconductor, optoelectronic and magnetic materials.
