The postgraduate and doctoral programmes in Mathematics are steps towards the mission of Karunya University. The Department of Mathematics offers a two year full time M.Sc. Programme in Mathematics. The subjects such as Mechanics, Functional Analysis, Tensor Analysis and the Special theory of Relativity, Fluid Dynamics, Programming in C and Numerical Methods, Data Structure and Algorithms, Java Programming, Relational Data Base Management Systems  are also included in the curriculum.

The Department has many quality faculty possessing doctoral and postdoctoral experience inland and overseas, who could guide students towards a progression in higher studies and career.
