THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of English is a pioneer in introducing Language Lab in English curriculum for Engineering and Management students. Ever since Karunya attained autonomy in the year 1999, the department has been working hard to bring about a sea change in the methodology of teaching, evaluation and designing the language curriculum to suit the various levels of students The department has established a state-of-the-art English for Specific Purposes Centre (ESP Centre) which houses Conventional Language Lab (CLL), Computer Aided Language Lab (CALL) and GD Lab. This centre functions 38 hours a week, catering to the needs of BE., B.Tech., M.BA and B.Ed students.

To impart high standard language and soft skills training by using the latest technology and best possible innovations in teaching and assessment.
