On the 21st and 22nd  of January meetings were conducted to plan out the upcoming programmes for this month for all the NSS student coordinators from 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm after the class hours.
On 21st the new coordinators were introduced and the forth coming programmmes were discussed in detail in the presence of Mr.Franklin John, NSS Staff Coordinator. On the 22nd the various events to be conducted on 24th for the SEESHA students, were discussed and various committees were formed to conduct the programme smoothly.

The preparation for the program started on 23rd evening in the EMS grounds. The tracks were laid and the field was set for the next day. The next day morning the NSS volunteers assembled in the EMS grounds to make the final arrangements for the event.
The students from various SEESHA centers in and around Coimbatore started arriving by the bus arranged by Karunya University from 9.00 am onwards. These students were under privileged and came from various places like Sadivayal, Alandurai and Coimbatore. These students were from the third standard up to tenth standard. These students were first grouped under 5 groups based on their class and a colour code was given to each group for conducting the games. The 5 groups were pink, red, and green, orange, blue. It was followed by their registration. Each group was assigned two NSS volunteers who were responsible for the group assigned to them. About 400 students came to participate in the programme.
