The Department of Electronics and Media Technology was the brain child of our beloved Chancellor Dr Paul Dhinakaran who foresaw the wide scope of the media industry and thus paved the way for the establishment of the department in the year 2004.This one of a kind course aims at producing highly skilled Media professionals with flair for creativity and technology with class and calibre.This is the only course of existence in India which offers an engineering course in the field of Electronics and Media.

It comprises of erudite and well experienced faculty with expertise in the world of Media and technology who aim at bringing the best out of the students.

This exciting and vibrant course provides a holistic and realistic method of teaching starting from a generalized approach in the field of Electronics and broadcasting, students gradually move towards specialization in graphics and 2-D and 3-D animation, Video production, Audio Production, Game programming, Web designing and Advertising and thus has a wide range of career options.

The Department is highly equipped with state of the art Media equipments, 24 hour working Audio and Video studios and advanced Edit suites to give the students hands on experience on the latest technology and develop projects of excellent standards.
