What is Kinesiology?

The field of Kinesiology is the study of the art and science of human movement. The application of this core knowledge is directed at optimizing human movement capability in one's everyday life. A rapidly developing and potentially vital area of application is that of active health-the use of movement as a critical tool in both preventative and rehabilitative medicine. A plethora of career opportunities exist in active health coordination, well-ness training and disability management.
