About IAESTE
IAESTE (The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience) founded in 1948 at Imperial college, London. IAESTE is an independent, Non-political organization in operational and consultative relationship with several agencies of United Nations. It has presently grown to include over 84 countries. Annually, IAESTE exchanges more than 6000 students, playing a key role in the professional growth and development of students.
Mission of IAESTE
To operate a high quality practical training exchange programme between member countries, in order to enhance technical and professional development and to promote international understanding and goodwill amongst students, academic institutions, employers and the wider community.

- To offer employers well-qualified and motivated trainees.
- To be a source of cultural enrichment for trainees and their host communities.
Unique Advantage of IAESTE Internship
The unique advantage of internship abroad through IAESTE is that a student needs to pay only for the international airfare from India to the country where he/she is selected for training. All living expenses, including boarding and lodging are covered by a liberal stipend paid to the students by the host country.
