As there is a remarkable growth in Indian Food Industry, lot of qualified and trained man power is required in the fields of food processing, food analysis, packaging, storage and cold chain management and safety standards and marketing.

Considering this importance Food processing and Engineering Department has started a B.Tech programme in the year 2005 and M.Tech and PhD during 2009 in Food Processing and Engineering discipline

The Food Quality Testing Laboratory of the School Of Food Sciences and Technology of Karunya University has been accredited by the National Accreditation Board For Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL).

NABL
